Letter: State elections office not inspiring confidence

The Hawaii Office of Elections has given me a good reason not to vote anymore by refusing to cooperate with the Trump administration to ensure the security of our elections. The office’s unwillingness to share voter registration data and then follow up with a lawsuit are not heroic acts against an authoritarian regime, as some suggest. There is nothing impressive nor heroic about the elections office’s rogue behavior.
