We are on the eve of our first football season of the post-realignment Mountain West Conference and the reborn eight-team Pac-12. In a few weeks we’ll get our first look at how these leagues have emerged from the latest upheaval, and over the course of the season we’ll get a sense of how they might look until the next upheaval — how they stack up, both against each other and against the other conferences.
