Column: Be clear on political terms, who is really threatening democracy

Bill Maher called New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani “a straight-up communist.” Donald Trump called him “a 100% communist lunatic.” Mamdani calls himself a democratic socialist. These are not the same thing.
