Letter: Blangiardi’s response to ID criticism unwarranted

I saw Mayor Rick Blangiardi on KHNL, speaking about the new driver’s license (“Hawaii driver’s licenses, state IDs get a redesign,” Star-Advertiser, July 22). “Whatever those people were that didn’t like it, that’s just the way it is. We’re not backing off. This is the card. Get used to it. Fall in love with it. Take it home. Look at it. Stare at it. Learn to like it,” he said.
