Letter: Council election fiasco disenfranchises voters

As a District 4 voter — and given the abysmally low voter interest and turnout (around 30% by most media reports) in the recent Hawaii-wide primaries — I would like to commend the city and the courts for the comedy of delays and errors that certainly energized my interest in my City Council primary. This comedy would be funny if it weren’t so tragically disenfranchising.
