Honolulu journalist Will Hoover was a man of words, music

Veteran Honolulu Advertiser reporter and columnist Will Hoover, who turned to journalism after a career as a Nashville singer and songwriter running with the likes of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell, died Aug. 3 at his home in Kapolei. He was 80.
