Letter: Hawaii must update its ranked-choice rules

In the Aug. 16 editorial, it was suggested that the drawing of lots to ultimately decide the winners in two recent primary races was somehow wrong, and this is why the ranked-choice system is finding favor (“Focus on ranked voting, donor law,” Star-Advertiser, Our View).
