Military airlift to move California utility’s crew, equipment from Big Isle to Kauai

The U.S. Air Force, the Hawaii National Guard and Southern California Edison utility company are working together to refocus post-hurricane power restoration efforts on Hawaii island to Kauai, where thousands remain without electricity in the aftermath of Hurricane Lowell.
