Gov. Ariyoshi’s casket, family arrive at Capitol rotunda

The late Gov. George R. Ariyoshi’s casket arrived at the state Capitol at 10:04 a.m. today, escorted by a Honolulu Police Department color guard carrying the U.S., Hawaii and Military Intelligence flags honoring Ariyoshi’s military service in World War II and as Hawaii’s longest-serving governor and America’s first Asian-American governor.
