Off the news: Geothermal plant heats up with new wells

The Puna Geothermal Venture (PGV) facility on Hawaii island is scheduled to start work this month on its Repower Project — drilling two new wells and restoring two existing wells damaged by the 2018 Kilauea eruption to increase power generation above pre-2018 levels.
