Letter: Fix Child Tax Credit flaw to help working families

There is no simple solution to the affordability crisis described in a recent article, but one bill proposed in Congress could help millions of parents afford necessities for their children (“Paradise costs,” Star- Advertiser, Oct. 16). The Stronger Start for Working Families Act would correct one injustice in the tax code.
