Column: Oahu Charter vote can strengthen immigrant protections

In the upcoming general election, Oahu voters will have a chance to help protect everyone, especially immigrants and people perceived to be immigrants, from overreaching federal officials. Question 6, one of 20 proposed amendments to the Honolulu City Charter, would also help align the Charter with recently passed state laws.
