Local advocate Cheryl Dickerson dies at 86

Cheryl Lynn Dickerson, a well-known Waikiki volunteer, hostess and community advocate whose charitable work and enthusiasm for bringing people together earned her friends throughout Hawaii’s hospitality and nonprofit communities, died Sept. 14 in Honolulu. She was 86.
