Proposal lifts bottom-fish restrictions in federal waters

The Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council has recommended keeping the 2011-12 annual catch limit quota in the 2012-13 season for popular bottom fish in the main Hawaiian Islands while doing away with restrictions against catching bottom fish in federal waters.
