Governor’s approval increases resources, programs for isle seniors

Gov. Neil Abercrombie signed bills into law Friday that will strengthen services for seniors.

Senate Bill 2779 will establish aging and disability resource centers in each county to streamline access to services for seniors, people with disabilities and family caregivers. About $1.4 milĀ­lion was appropriated for the centers.
