A Kalihi woman arrested for threatening Honolulu police after an officer shot her son remains in custody Saturday night.
Meanwhile her son, Ralph Riviera, remains in the hospital in critical condition.
Police say Riviera was wielding a metal stake when he was confronted by a responding officer who shot him several times.
That’s when his mom, Nadeen Lane, picked up the object and started threatening the officer.
She was arrested for terroristic threatening and is awaiting charges.
