Airport runway repairs may increase noise in Ewa

The state Department of Transportation is scheduled to close Runway 8R/26L nightly from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Monday and concluding June 8 at 4 a.m. The closures are needed to complete various projects including runway and taxiway light replacement and taxiway repairs, according to a DOT news release.
