Starting next week, Alaska Airlines will launch new, nonstop, daily flights to Lihue, Kauai from the Bay Area.
Service will begin Sunday, March 27 with a flight from San Jose to Lihue. This flight will be available three days a week.
On Monday, March 28, the airlines will begin its service from Oakland to Lihue. This flight will be available four days a week.
The Kauai Visitors Bureau says the flights will add 57,000 air seats annually to Kauai.
