Army’s top civilian leader resigns after clashing with Hegseth

Army Secretary Daniel P. Driscoll, the service’s top civilian leader, who clashed repeatedly with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the ouster of key combat-tested Army leaders, handed in his resignation to President Donald Trump on Monday, administration officials said.
