A brush fire on Maui burned about an acre in area of Waiko Road near the Waiale intersection around 2 p.m.
The fire was under control by 2:16 p.m It was extinguished at 2:52 p.m. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Maui Fire Department contained the fire quickly which scorched dry brush
