I’ve been fishing and diving in Hawaii’s waters since I was 10 years old. It’s rare that a day goes by when I don’t get into the water. Now, at 78, I’ve spent nearly seven decades watching and learning from the ocean. Over that time, I’ve come to understand just how deeply connected everything is underwater — and I think I’ve become a better, more selective fisherman because of it.
