Column: Hawaii health care needs major shakeup

Many people in Hawaii already sense something is wrong with our health care system. It’s harder to get an appointment and more expensive each year. Premiums keep rising faster than wages, squeezing family budgets and employer benefits. Families also worry whether we will have enough doctors and nurses to care for our kupuna, our children, and those who need help the most.
