Column: Hawaii Tourism Authority’s diligent work achieved much

When we were asked to serve as unpaid board members on the Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA), we accepted with a sincere desire to contribute to the future of tourism in our state. Amid the public controversy and scrutiny HTA faced what’s often overlooked are the significant strides that were made.
