Column: No nā haumāna hōʻaʻano ma ke kula

Synopsis: It seems our schools have a growing problem with bullying. In a recent incident on Maui, a student was bullied for months, then assaulted by two other students at Külanihäkoæi High School in Kihei. Victims of bullying are often affected for life. Teasing each other has always been part of growing up, but it has escalated into assault. We must work together to stop this behavior in our schools.
