Column: Renegotiate wastewater plant upgrade

A recent commentary writer admirably advocates efficient implementation of the $2.5 billion Sand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (SIWWTP) upgrade (“Take smart steps to treat wastewater,” Star-Advertiser, Island Voices, July 7). His detailed points, however, should not be taken as gospel, as a holistic science-based viewpoint tells a different story.
