The Diamond Head Crater/Diamond Head State Monument will be closed to the public from 6 p.m. Friday, November 11 to Monday, November 14 for training a staging purposes during the APEC summit.
“We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause those who had planned to hike the Diamond Head trail during that weekend. However, the Hawaii National Guard requires a secure area near Waikiki in order to prepare for its missions in support of civil authorities”, said Maj. Gen. Darryll D.M. Wong, State Adjutant General.
