DOT: Newark controllers lost contact with airplanes for 30 seconds

WASHINGTON >> Air traffic controllers overseeing planes at Newark International Airport in New Jersey lost contact with aircraft for 30 seconds last week, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said.
