Editorial: Be aware of e-bike rules, regulations

On Wednesday, a 14-year-old boy riding an electric motorcycle, described in reports as an electric dirt bike, was struck by a vehicle in Ewa Beach and killed. The tragedy adds not only to a worrying uptick in overall isle traffic fatalities, but an unacceptable number of youth injuries and death tied to new forms of electric-powered conveyance.
