Editorial: Don’t fritter away your right to vote

Most of those reading this editorial likely plan to vote. We salute you! Some have already popped their completed ballot into the mail, and that’s great. However, far too many Hawaii residents who are qualified to vote have no intention of casting a ballot — despite following the news, observing the wide gulf in opinions on the role of government between U.S. political parties, or carrying strongly held opinions on the quality of your county, state and national governments.
