Editorial: Family sanctuaries worth examination

Senate Bill 2563, authorizing the use of government-sanctioned city, state, federal or private land for secured temporary shelters serving homeless women and children under age 18, aims to fill a gap that’s not currently met by other services. The need is urgent, and the state Legislature must act to support this goal.
