Editorial: Focus on ranked voting, donor law

Hawaii elections have a participation problem — and Hawaii politics has a reputation problem, fueled, sadly, by repeated corruption scandals involving elected officials. This election season has been particularly tough, with the state facing federal attempts to wrest away control of the voting process, and our elected lieutenant governor out of the race and under indictment for allegedly accepting bribes.
