Editorial: Hawaii’s minimum wage needs revisiting

Workers in Hawaii who are earning the minimum wage got a pay bump on New Year’s Day, from $14 to $16 an hour. Crediting Hawaii’s Legislature for the increase, Gov. Josh Green’s announcement on the wage hike states that it’s “designed to support working families and foster economic stability.”
