It’s the right idea, at the right time: The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB) and Hawaiian Council (formerly Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement) have joined to offer a new North Shore shuttle for round-trips from Waikiki or Ko Olina, with a “North Shore Passport” to shop and dine at participating businesses. That offers tourists, the target audience, an attractive way to visit communities and boost businesses affected by intense storms and flooding that deluged Oahu in March.
