Editorial: Overrun farmers can’t afford aid lag

The farming sector in Hawaii faces so many hurdles — land access, language barriers, extremely high costs — that it’s hard to know where the help should begin. And all of that burden was swamped, literally and figuratively, when the flood waters of early spring swept away profits and hope for the future.
