It’s just about summer, and in Hawaii that means beaches, pools and other large, inviting bodies of water will see an influx of humanity eager to take advantage of tropical island weather and rollicking surf. And while fun in the sun is highly advised, pool- and beachgoers would do well to be aware of the dangers even shallow waters and small waves pose. This is an important reminder for keiki, who are particularly vulnerable to the perils of water-related accidents.
