Eyewitness can’t ID defendant in Chinatown murder trial

The state’s only eyewitness proffered in the murder trial of 62-year-old Samuel Carter in the 2022 shooting death of a pregnant 24-year-old woman in Chinatown said he could not identify the defendant.
