Fevella asks Supreme Court to intervene in election tiebreaker

State Sen. Kurt Fevella — who lost a random draw to break a 1,212-to-1,212-vote tie in his Aug. 8 Republican Party primary race — on Wednesday asked the Hawaii Supreme Court to invalidate the results of his reelection defeat to former state Rep. Bob McDermott to represent Ewa Beach-Ocean Pointe-Iroquois Point.
