Waialua farmer You Ming Liu stood among his barren and water-soaked farm last week and estimated that damage from the second Kona-low storm will cost him at least $150,000, including crops and farm equipment destroyed by floodwaters that reached chest high at its peak and left behind fields drowning in water.
