Hawaii bids aloha to former Gov. George Ariyoshi

Former Gov. George R. Ari­yoshi, Hawaii’s longest- serving governor and the first Asian American to serve as governor of a U.S. state, was honored Saturday with a public celebration of life at Kawaiaha‘o Church following a day of memorial events at the state Capitol.
