Hawaii democratic socialist movement fails to gain traction

U.S. Rep. Ed Case was correct when he told the Honolulu Star- Advertiser ahead of the Aug. 8 primary election that mainland political trends, namely the unexpected rise of democratic socialists knocking off more moderate members of their party, do not always translate to Hawaii.
