Honolulu is given $1.05M to create detailed road database

A $1.05 million federal grant to the city is being used to establish a high-resolution image database of Oahu roads to evaluate and track road conditions in determining where to best use road repair and maintenance resources, Mayor Peter Carlisle announced Friday.
