The Honolulu Liquor Commission is seeking final City Council approval Wednesday of a new records-retention schedule for public information requests and body-worn camera footage amid renewed litigation from a Chinatown nightclub alleging the commission violated a 2025 settlement by restricting public-records access, among other claims.
