HPD officers cleared in using deadly force in Makaha clash

Prosecuting Attorney Steve Alm on Tuesday said two Honolulu Police Department officers were justified in the fatal shooting in 2025 of a man who refused to surrender after ramming their unmarked police car until it exploded into flames in Makaha.
