A Honolulu police solo bike officer was injured in an accident involving a car Wednesday morning.
It happened at around 6 a.m. at the entrance to the zipper lane near the Waikele offramp.
Emergency medical services officials say a car hit the officer, who is a 39-year-old man.
Authorities say the officer was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center where he was treated and released.
