Hundreds participate in annual clean-up project

Hundreds of volunteers spent their Saturday helping to spruce up our community.

Volunteers including the Honolulu police department and Kamehameha schools football team picked up paint brushes and started painting over graffiti.

The work is part of the Project CLEAN around the Kapahulu, Waikiki, and Ala Moana areas.

The clean-up also comes ahead of next month’s Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings, where leaders from various countries will meet on Oahu.
