Summer got off to a blazing start for Honolulu‘s real estate market.
Home prices rose more than 10% last month. According to the Honolulu Board of Realtors, the median price for a single family home was $620,000 in June. Condo prices fell slightly to just under $300,000.
Sales of single family homes also increased in June while condo sales were nearly flat.
The Board of Realtors is optimistic about the remainder of the summer due to dramatic increases in pending sales.
