They bent, but in the very end, Kahuku did not break. The Red Raiders’ interior defense stonewalled Kapolei running back Chazz-Michael Kapahu at the 1-yard line on the final play of the game as Kahuku escaped with a 12-7 win over the Hurricanes for the OIA Open Division championship.
