Question: I use the City’s parking meters often, both downtown and in shopping areas around town. Very frequently the meter screen is blank and does not display the meter number to identify on the meter app to pay through the app. Sometimes the meter has the number taped on the meter but not always. Is the City aware of how frequently these meters are not functioning properly? What is a driver to do if they park in a stall with a meter that is not working? Most times I do not have the change and I can’t insert a credit card because the screen is not functioning.
