Kokua Line: Can we bring luggage on TheBus now?

Question: Please clarify whether luggage is allowed on TheBus now. I mean a regular-sized suitcase, not a small bag you can fit on your lap. I would like to take Skyline to the airport as the city suggests, but I would have to take a bus to Middle Street first and reverse on the way home — I can only take the train partway. I once tried to take TheBus to the airport (several years ago, before Skyline) and the driver wouldn’t let me on with my suitcase (a normal-­sized checked bag). He was apologetic, saying that if he let me on he would have to let everybody on who has a bunch of stuff.
