Letter: Abject cruelty is new normal for America

USAID was cut, even though foreign aid was about 1% of the federal budget, and the U.S. incinerated 500 metric tons of food aid for starving people. Hundreds of thousands to millions of people globally might die due to USAID cuts. And Venezuelans are being killed with specious evidence of drug trafficking.
